This Berlin art guide offers a highly subjective but carefully curated selection of the city’s most interesting art spots, edited by sleek magazine, a Berlin based quarterly for art and fashion. Tracing one of Berlin’s most defining characteristics – rapid change – about a third of all locations listed are so new they haven’t been listed anywhere else yet.

To reflect the legendary versatility of Berlin’s art landscape, the guide includes established white cube galleries as well as private collections, off-the-radar project spaces, bookshops, and even favorite bars and artists’ hangouts.

Each location comes with a short description and factual information, and contains portraits of some of this city’s most colorful art world characters, taken by photographer Maxime Ballesteros. So if users make it to one of those artists’ hangout bars, they will actually be able to tell who’s who.
